Impulsive and Difficult Dogs Welcome!

How the Training Process Works

Model Canine provides in home dog training for everything from basic obedience and puppy training to aggression and destructive behavior. A 2 hour in home session for one dog costs $200 (may run longer if needed). The trainer leaves when the dog is under control and the owner feels confident they can manage the dog and continue improving. The trainer follows up over texts or phone calls. If a second session is needed for the same dog I offer lower rates.

Why Train Your Dog?

Aside from the obvious reasons of it making your life easier and your dog happier Training is important for every dog because of safety and liability. Firstly keeping your dog safe. If your dog isn’t obedient and gets off leash they could be hit by a car, lost or bite someone. If your dog is aggressive towards new people it may make it unsafe for you to take your dog with you in an emergency situation, such as a tornado or fire. Secondly the safety of yourself and other people; not only can your dog bite or jump on someone to hurt them, but their aggression or any other bad behavior can be hurting you or your family in other ways as well. For example, if friends and neighbors are afraid to come over because of your dog, or if you avoid leaving the house due to fear of separation anxiety etc. then in a way you are being hurt by that relationship, Don’t worry! Model Canine is here to help!
